We went walking on the Athabasca Glacier! We weren't doing great with the heat on this trip but here on the glacier where everyone else was wearing coats, we were very comfortable.

We learned that this Glacier feeds the Hudson Bay with its fresh water! - that is far from the Glacier and close to where we are from.

We drank the Glacier water and filled our thermoses with it for later. Imagine! We drank the water from a glacier that has been around longer than woolly mammoths, or is that mastadons? Ooops, can't remember.
